Friends and Neighbors,

My name is Heather Felton, and I'm running to be your next Manatee County School Board, District 1 member. We have strong public schools in Manatee County, but we can do more. I am running to ensure that our schools continue to be places of both welcome and safety, where learning and growth are the focus.

We must support our teachers and staff and ensure they have the resources they need to assist and guide our children along their educational journey.  Most importantly, I am running to ensure our students are embraced for who they are, and are able to grow not only in academics, but as their own authentic selves.

These are the reasons I am running to be your next Manatee School Board member and I would be honored to have your support.
